Our client specialises in manufacturing and installing screw piling foundations using the most advanced equipment and high-quality material available. Located in Thomastown, they offer the support and mentorship you need to succeed in your apprenticeship - APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fabrication, welding, and assembly, of metal structures and components.
  • Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, power tools, and machinery.
  • Work closely with qualified boilermakers to learn welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques.
  • Work diligently on a production line in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Requirements:

  • Good numeracy skills and an interest in machinery and fabrication.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • A proactive approach to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.

What we're looking for:

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to be part of a diverse team.
  • Punctual, reliable, and hardworking with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks safely.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, police check, and random drug and alcohol testing.
