91╣┘═°to continue long tradition of support under new contract

24 April, 2024

91╣┘═°is thrilled to announce that it has once again been engaged to provide Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2026.╠ř

The news means 91╣┘═°remains the single largest Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) in the country, having provided these services continuously since 1998. AASS will replace the existing Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN).╠ř

Under the terms of the new contract, 91╣┘═°will provide support for apprentices, trainees and employers on behalf of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) in six out of eight employment regions across the country:╠ř

  • │Ňż▒│Ž│┘┤ă░¨ż▒▓╣╠ř
  • New South Wales╠ř
  • ▓¤│▄▒▒▓ď▓§▒˘▓╣▓ď╗ň╠ř
  • Australian Capital Territory╠ř╠ř
  • Perth and Surrounds╠ř
  • Outback Western Australia╠ř╠ř

While 91╣┘═°will not deliver the AASS program in South Australia and Tasmania from 1 July, it is committed to retaining a strong strategic presence by continuing to operate all other existing business units in both states.╠ř

The new AASS contract introduces some exciting changes to the way apprenticeship services are delivered, with a strong focus on improving commencement, retention and completion rates. These include:╠ř

  • Comprehensive pre-employment assessments to ensure early identification of support required for both apprentices and employersÔÇ»ÔÇ»╠ř

  • Expanded mentoring and other services to provide tailored support for apprentices and trainees as they complete their qualifications╠ř

  • Increased engagement with schools to ensure a strong talent pipeline╠ř

Employers in South Australia and Tasmania currently receiving AASN services from 91╣┘═°will be advised by DEWR in due course about transitioning to a new provider.╠ř
