We currently have╠řan opportunity for the right person to undertake a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship.╠ř╠ř

The successful candidate will be╠řrequired to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering ÔÇô Mechanical Trade.╠ř

In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:╠ř

  • Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipment╠ř
  • Manual and CNC machine operation╠ř
  • Assisting with root cause analysis investigations╠ř
  • Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standards╠ř
  • Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions╠ř
  • ÔÇőPreparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:╠ř

  • A genuine desire to become a qualified╠řengineering╠řtradesperson╠ř
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail╠ř
  • Self-motivation╠řwith a positive work ethic╠ř
  • Commitment to on and off the job training╠ř
  • A willingness to learn and work within a team environment╠ř
  • Strong commitment to OHS╠ř
  • ÔÇőDrivers licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred but not essential
