Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication)

We are currently seeking a motivated Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication) to join our team.

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced and qualified engineers, gaining practical, hands-on experience as well as valuable mentoring and ongoing support throughout your training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate engineering measurements

  • Apply welding techniques and principles

  • Operate basic workshop machinery

  • Use Beamline and other CNC equipment

  • Conduct mechanical cutting tasks

  • Follow occupational health and safety procedures in the workplace

  • Show motivation and a strong interest in the metal fabrication industry

  • Be dependable, trustworthy, and punctual

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail

We are looking for applicants who are genuinely committed to building a long-term career in fabrication and are prepared to put in the effort required to become trade qualified.

As part of this apprenticeship, the successful candidate will complete a Certificate III in Engineering.
