TheÌýTraineeship Program

Our traineeship program, generally completed over a 12-month period, is an education pathway that combines formal learning with on-the-job training to provide relevant and valuable industry skills alongside a qualification.

There are 3Ìýparts to the traineeship program:Ìý

  1. Work Experience:ÌýYou will be aÌýkey member of our Kinetic IT team directly supporting our customers.
  2. Formal Learning:ÌýYou will be supported in completingÌýa Certificate III in Information Technology or Business through weekly instructor-ledÌýsessions with our training provider, and given opportunities to put into practice what you are learning.
  3. Mentor Support:ÌýYou will have access to mentor support throughÌýa specialist Indigenous mentorship provider. You will haveÌýmonthly catch ups toÌýcheck in andÌýsee how you are going with the role and yourÌýlearning journey.

The Work Experience:

Service Desk Technician

As a Service Desk Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for users needing technical support, helping resolve common IT issues like password resets, system access, and basic troubleshooting. You'll provide professional, customer-focused service over phone, email, or chat, logging and escalating tickets as needed while following structured processes. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and wants to build real-world experience in IT.

Process Administrator

As a Process Administrator, you'll support day-to-day operations by keeping systems, records, and tasks organised and up to date. This role involves working across different teams to help ensure key activities are tracked, information is accurate, and deadlines are met. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys structure, is detail-oriented, and wants to build experience in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You'll gain exposure to a variety of business functions while supporting internal processes and client-related work.
