Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to start your career in the Electrical? 91¹ÙÍøare taking expression of interest for an outstanding opportunity with Coopers Brewery for a 1st Year Industrial Electrical Apprentice. This apprenticeship will be for a November 2025 start date.
Coopers Brewery has a long, rich history which spans from its founding in 1862. Through the decades, the brewery has seen many changes and has grown from strength to strength. Located at Regency Park, the brewery and malting represents an intriguing fusion of modern innovation and Coopers brewing tradition.
As an apprentice, your duties will include:
- Assisting with electrical maintenance and repair of brewing, fermentation, and packaging equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, control panels, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Support the installation and wiring of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Help troubleshoot automation systems and assist with repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure reliability of critical brewing systems.
- Assist with maintaining accurate logs of electrical work and maintenance activities.
What we are looking for?
- Currently completing Year 12
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred, but not essential)
- White Card
Driver's licence is not required as Public Transport is close by.
